100 investors come to Costa Rica in April
One hundred foreign investors will be in the country on 14 and 15 April next part in the first Costa Rica Investment World, to which 74 companies will also attend national suppliers.
The purpose of this meeting is to promote the country as an emerging market for high value-added investment and bring the whole supply chain in one place, explained general manager of the Foreign Trade Promoter (Procomer), Emmanuel Hess .
All this to achieve higher investment, reinvestment, and higher co-investment linkages.
The sectors to be promoted are the electronic medical devices, services, industrial goods such as metalworking, green technologies and research and development.
The activity is organized by Procomer, with the collaboration of the Coalition of Development Initiatives (INCD), the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) and the National Concession Council, and will be held in the Hotel Herradura.
The Costa Rica Investment World replaces the Forum Suppliers (Suppliers Exchange Forum), which was held twice in the country in 2005 and 2007.
